Kids Care Team
Turning Point Community Church is looking for fully devoted followers of Christ who are passionate to disciple and care for kids ages birth through Elementary. This position will care for kids by sharing God’s love through Bible stories, activities, crafts, songs, and play time while cultivating a culture of fun. No prior teaching experience is required. Position: Kids' Care Provider (Independent Contractor)
Reports to: Kids' Director
Status: Variable schedule and hours to include days, nights, and weekends.
Rate of Pay: $12.00 per hour

Ministry Purpose: To provide Christ centered caring and compassionate childcare support for Ministry functions at Turning Point Community Church (TPCC) to include, but not limited to, Community Groups, Bible Studies, Sunday mornings, Growth Track, and Special Events.
Requirements:
Must be 16 years of age or older.
Must consent to and successfully complete a background check, if over the age of 18.
Must complete the Ministry Safe 1 hour course, if over the age of 18. To be provided.
- Valid CPR and/or First Aid certifications preferred-but not required
- Must serve one full Sunday morning each month.
- Complete training with the Kids' Director.
- Must align with TPCC core values and beliefs.

• A follower of Jesus Christ who is taking steps in growing spiritually.
Duties:
- Responsible for age-appropriate care of children from newborn to age 11.
- Supervise and monitor the safety and well-being of children in your care.
- Engage the children with Jesus by making spiritual deposits by way of fun, interactive activities such as games, puzzles, story time, pretend play, and crafts and any curriculum that may be provided to you.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hazard-free environment at all times.
- Notify parents or guardians in a timely manner if there are any issues or concerns regarding their child.
- Keep supervisor apprised of hours worked, weekly schedule and availability.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Set up your classroom for your scheduled time with kids.
- Clean up and reset the room before leaving.
- When necessary, unlock and lock the church.
