COVID-19 Update March 28

Turning Point Family,

As we continue to direct our course through the corona virus crisis restrictions, we want to update you with developments as they occur.

For those of you that are in Community Groups, I hope you have heard from your leadership and have had some opportunities to connect.  We are encouraging groups to BE the church and care for one another through this time.  We are coaching our groups to look to Zoom as a way to have everyone in your group connect on a video call.  It’s a great platform and we are hearing good reports from those meetings.

Also, families be sure to look up the resources available to you on our website.  Parents, there are links that provide videos, activities, and discussion questions so that you can engage your children during this stay at home period.  God is truly redeeming the time and we’re hearing feedback from families that they’re actually enjoying the shut down and benefitting by taking up our “Be The Church“ challenge and seeing new levels of spiritual development taking place in their home.

In terms of gatherings, we are still processing the information as it comes available.  As we make decisions, we will do our best to keep you informed through the church’s website, Facebook page, emails, and texts.  If you are not hearing from us, we need to make sure we have accurate contact information.  Please go to this link: and update your contact info.

Here are some new features we are rolling out this week:
•    The Sunday message will be posted each week at 9:00am.
•    We will be hosting a Monday Night All Access – this will be a Facebook Live Q&A following the Sunday message.  We will include some extra content and answer questions at 7:00pm.
•    Wednesday evenings we will provide a Worship Night.  The band will lead us in a music set and then guide us through communion.  This experience will be at 8:30pm.
•    Friday nights we will come together for prayer.  Via Facebook Live we will have some of our elders to lead us through prayer and help direct your requests to a prayer room where you can share requests and receive prayer from our prayer team.  Prayer night will be at 7:00pm.

As we wait for the gathering restrictions to lift this will give us the best opportunity to stay connected.
Remember we love and pray for you daily!  Let’s keep our faith up, family loved, and our focus on others.

Pastor Chuck
